MRI Exam |

This safe and painless procedure uses a magnetic field to produce highly detailed images of areas within the body, including the brain and spine. In addition, cartilage and ligaments of many joints, such as the knee, ankle, shoulder, elbow and jaw, can be seen with clarity. With 3-D magnetic resonance angiography
(MRA), noninvasive imaging of blood vessels in the neck, chest, abdomen and legs can be performed. |

technology uses a special X-ray camera to produce highly
detailed images of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, brain and
spine. We use an advanced spiral scanner that allows us to

introduce outpatient cardiac MRI, which can produce highly

Interventional Radiology |
|

Conditions that once required surgery can now be treated with catheters as tiny as the tip of a pen, using radiologic images as a guide. Biopsy of small lesions that were detected by high-resolution scans can be performed. Uterine artery embolization can eliminate benign fibroid tumors without traditional surgery, plus it allows a woman to keep her uterus. And vertebroplasty is a safe, nonsurgical treatment for reducing or eliminating the pain caused by spinal fractures. Our staff includes fellowship-trained physicians who can perform these studies with the highest level of expertise. |
